Thanks so much for attending Art Buffet in Summer U, I hope your child had fun! During our final week of class, we glazed our blue and white pots. Students began with a layer of white glaze and once dry, painted a motif in blue glaze. We also worked on a drawing inspired by Stefan Bucher. First, students used an eye dropper to drop ink blobs on paper. Next, they blew on the blobs to allow the ink to run in interesting ways. Once dry, they used the ink parts to form the basis of a creature, filling in the rest with permanent marker and soft pastels. Lastly, we created a character using oil based clay.
